White Shark Projects is without doubt the most successful white shark diving organisation in the world: Working in the unique marine area off the southern Cape coast, our skippers log more contact with great white sharks than anyone else worldwide. You can buy a DVD of your day for R350 per copy. All scuba equipment, coffee, you're invited to join us for tea, crisps and assorted juices and soft drinks.· Afternoon teaOn your return to dry land, sweets, is provided – you don’t need a scuba licence to cage dive.· Lunch on boardOur lunch boxes are packed with bread rolls (with a variety of fillings), including 7mm wetsuits, biscuits or scones at our Lodge.A DVD of your tripWe have a professional videographer on all our trips. Each person spends about 20 minutes in the cage. We spend 2 to 4 hours at sea, depending on how often the sharks visit the boat.· Diving and viewingOur cage takes 4 people at a time. He explains how we work with the sharks in the area. Alternatively we can arrange a car hire for you, or transfer by helicopter or micro light.· Breakfast at our stunning LodgeOur continental breakfast consists of yoghurt, cereals, toast and cold meats, tea and coffee.· Your day at sea and a lecture on boardThe skipper of the day gives a short lecture on shark anatomy and behaviour. Your day with White Shark ProjectsPlease note: Due to tides and collection schedules, we can only confirm exact collection times at 16h00 on the day prior to your tour.· Pickup and scenic transferWe collect you from Cape Town or Hermanus and drive you to ‘White Shark Lodge’, our home base in Kleinbaai. You can also buy an underwater disposable camera at the Lodge for R130.

Our knowledgeable and efficient boat crew operates with the benefit of 15 years’ experience in Great White Shark research, conservation and ecotourism. Social development is as important to White Shark Projects as conserving the sharks and our marine environment. Without healthy development in local communities, our business is neither responsible nor sustainable. He had his first shark cage dive nearly 20 years ago, and it completely changed his life. The sea is his passion and the best part of his job is seeing Great Whites. He has a flashy smile which rivals that of the Great White Shark. As our Maintenance Manager, Jerome knows how everything works and where everything is. He takes great pride in his role here at White Shark Projects, having chosen this job not just because of his love for the ocean, but also to have a job that his children can be proud of. His knowledge and kindness becomes evident the moment you meet him. Jessica is our Volunteer Co-Ordinator, bubbling with life and a passion for people and wildlife alike. Jessica herself was once a volunteer with White Shark Projects and has first hand experience. Natasha has been with White Shark Projects just over seven years and she loves the challenges of her position. She is always ready with a back-up plan and the best part of her day is when she has managed to assist all clients to get a seat on the Shark Team. Taking good care of your nutritional needs and is always there to give a helping hand. She enjoys preparing good food for our clients and loves to hear all the compliments. Tina, our latest recruit, is a lovely lady who enjoys learning all the new and wonderful ways of the White Shark Projects Kitchen. Tina loves meeting all the clients from different parts of the world, talking to them and helping them to prepare for their adventure. We are happy to have Tina as part of our amazing Kitchen Quartet. He strives to give his passengers the most comfortable drive, taking care of their needs along the way. Nezaam takes the responsibility of safely transporting his passengers very seriously and aims to exceed the clients expectations. She is efficient, professional, caring and very passionate about her role at White Shark Projects. It takes a special kind of person to do Anny’s work, and we are grateful for her skills.
